What’s New for 2026
The competition format has been updated, with Championship and Cup events replacing the previous Division 1 and Division 2 structure.
Teams are encouraged to enter as follows:
- Championship – for teams aiming to compete at the level formerly known as Division 1.
- Cup – for teams aiming to compete at the level formerly known as Division 2.
- Badminton New Zealand are trialling no ranking lists for these events in 2026.
Key Dates:
- Fri 24 July – Entries close
- Fri 24 July – Team Rosters due
- Fri 10 July – Composite team application forms due to SSNZ

- 8am - Mixed (35s, 45s, 55s, 65s)
- 1pm - Mixed (40s, 50s, 60s, 70s)
- 7pm - Hillbilly Hoedown Dinner and Dance
