To maintain your technical official qualification, you're expected to complete a certain number of tournaments and matches each year. This is to ensure you're staying involved as a technical official, as well as maintaining the currency of your knowledge.
Referees
Accredited
Certificated
Expected to officiate a minimum of 2 events per year as either a Referee or Deputy Referee. One of which must be at a sanctioned open event.
Expected to officiate a minimum of 3 events per year as either a Referee or Deputy Referee. One of which must be at a National Senior event or above.
Umpires
Accredited
Certificated
Expected to officiate at a minimum of any 2 (ideally sanctioned open) events; and a minimum of 30 matches each year.
Expected to officiate at a minimum of any 3 events; and a minimum of 50 matches each year, one of which must be at a National Senior event or above.
Line Judges
Certificated
Expected to officiate at a minimum of 2 events; and a minimum of 30 matches each year, one of which must be at a National Senior Level or above.
