For many of the juniors, this will be their first opportunity to resume international competition again since the Oceania Junior Championships in early 2020.
Congratulations the following juniors named for the New Zealand Junior team:
- Victoria Guo (Waikato)
- Berry Ng (North Harbour)
- Nanna Siegemund (North Harbour)
- Camellia Zhou (Auckland)
- Chris Benzie (North Harbour)

National Coach, Rikke Olsen Siegemund accompanies the team throughout this campaign. “We have selected a team with a range of different age groups,” Rikke comments,
“We want to use this opportunity to expose a number of players at different stages within the New Zealand Junior Programme to these international experiences and hope they carry forward the knowledge learnt, both to their peers and in future performance event opportunities.”
The New Zealand Junior team departs in late September, contesting the Trans-Tasman test ties from October 1 - 2. The Sydney International takes place from October 5 - 9.
