The New Zealand Junior Squads have opened the 2023 season with a series of January training camps in Waitakere.
The NZ U19 squad, comprised of 30 members across eight associations are led by coaches, Rikke Olsen Siegemund, Fanny Megahwati and Nick Chambers. Over their five-day training camp, the squad fine-tuned their haka, participated in a media session and attended an Athlete Life session delivered by HPSNZ, alongside their on-court sessions.

New Zealand's youngest group, the Under 15 squad is made up of 32 members, from across seven associations are led by coaches, Tracey Hallam, Ken Yew, Rikke Olsen Siegemund and Vincent Harris. Over their four-day training camp, the squad bonded over team activities, alongside their on-court sessions.
